Summary of Arundo Control Methods

This project was carried out along the Santa Margarita River in San Diego County. Foliar application was done with a 5-6% solution of Rodeo^® herbicide. There was almost no resprouting. The Arundo canes started to fall over in year two and by years three and four most of the Arundo biomass was fallen over and decomposing and colonization by other species was occurring.
