Distribution of Arundo donax in coastal watersheds of Southern California
SANTA MARGARITA WATERSHED: ARUNDO DONAX DISTRIBUTION MAPS
Distribution of Arundo donax covers from the Camp Pendleton boundary (at the De Luz road bridge over the Santa Margarita) to the Temecula and Murrieta area. Mapping is not entirely complete - especially for some of the more upland areas in the upper watershed. The mapping indicates live Arundo plants as of 1999/2000.
Distribution of Lepidium latifolium covers all known infestations to date, but it suspected that there are quite a few more infestations on the Santa Margarita River. Mapping is not complete. A targeted, full-scale mapping for this plant has not been carried out.
